Physical Description: Sam is six foot four inches tall with long brown hair and hazel eyes. His clothing is very thrift store chic and he wears at least three layers at a time. because that way he always has something clean to wear.
General Demeanor/Presence: Sam is more graceful then his height and weight would suggest. He is more likely to use a gun then his fists but when he has to fight hand to hand he is just as fluid in motion as he is when walking and talking.
Pertinent Medical Information: Other than a fear of clowns, Sam is very healthy with no allergies and a few hunting related scars.
Powers/Skills: Sam's abilities comes from years of training with various weapons and magical tomes. Sam is also an angel vessel, which means he can consent to carrying Angel Grace and survive the process.

Sam is a typical younger sibling, stubborn, passionate and fiercely loyal to his family and friends. Despite this Sam loathes the way he grew up and from the time he was old enough to understand what normal was he longed for a life beyond hunting. Sam is very adaptable moving from a hunt to college classes with a smile and a nod. He keeps to himself when alone and tries not to socialize because if he gets close to people they get hurt.

Sam is also a gentle giant with the kindest soul most angels have ever seen. He risks death every day to save complete strangers because innocent lives always come before his own. Death even remarked that Sam was one of the most faithful souls he’d ever seen and he earned the respect and friendship of the angel sent to stop him from becoming Lucifer’s vessel. PERSONALITY: Sam is the quieter more bookish of the brothers. A good night in for him is his laptop and a couple of heavy tomes and maybe a burger and beer. He is introverted preferring to think things through before making a move rather than punching his way through a problem or a case. However, this quiet nature does not mean Sam sits back and lets everyone else fight his battles for him. Sam will fight and fight hard when he has to. 

Another thing about Sam is that he feels things deeply. When someone he loves dies Sam will never forget it. In fact he has willingly fallen into Hell to save those he loves. He remembers every death, every loss and hates himself for every person he's ever let down. He has self worth so low that he simply answers "So what" when someone begs him not to die. To Sam the universe is important, he is not.

Heroic/Villainous/Neutral:

Sam is completely on the Heroic end of the scale no question and I have no plans to change that anytime soon. Sam Winchester has saved the world many times over despite his own death and the deaths of those he loved. He has carried the Grace of an angel inside him and lived, lost his soul and moved on and faced God and his sister without flinching. He will always choose the side of right and he has the faith to back up his decisions. This is not going to change, Sam will always choose to help the innocent and he will always believe that someone can be saved no matter what they've done or who they have hurt.


Mentor/Journeyman/Rookie:

Sam is very much a Journeyman rather than a Rookie or a Mentor. He is not a Rookie because he has been fighting monsters, ghosts and other evil and not so evil things since he was old enough to hold a gun.  He is not a Mentor even though he could be because he's afraid of letting anyone get close to him. He's had too many people die or get hurt because of him to even consider teaching anyone to do what he does. He does long to have someone by his side either as a lover or a fellow hunter, but the fear of losing that person is too much for Sam to face, so it's better if he goes at things alone. Being a Journeyman will allow Sam the freedom of movement he is used to, while at the same time letting him get to know various types of people.

Which Area(s) Of The City Interest You For Your Character?:

Sam will feel most comfortable in the City of Sorcery and the City of Adventure. He's grown up living and breathing magic, he is actually an accomplished magic user who studies folklore for a living. He would enjoy learning new types of magic and finding out how powerful he might actually be. The City of Adventure will hopefully be Sam's home away from home, he has lived and breathed Adventure since he was a kid and he'll adore living in a place that fits him like a second skin. That's not to say he'll settle in one place though, Sam is used to living out of hotels and cars, so if he can wander between the various cities helping anyone who needs it, Sam will do that rather than just picking one place to live and staying there.

Hello my name is Sam Winchester and I'm sort of a hero....though there are some who might disagree with that. I don't know why anyone would send me this phone.....but anything that gets me out of being shot and put on trial for saving the world is okay in my book. And you heard right...I was about to be put on trial for saving the world. My life is weird.

Sam was screwed and he knew it. Why on gods green earth did he let the other heroes talk him into this. He took a deep breath in and hovered his hand over the pedestal. "Sam is tall, he can miss the arrows," the tall hunter grumbled softly, "Sam is smart he'll walk right past the traps no problem." Sam sighed softly. Sometimes the other heroes drive the quiet by nature Winchester nuts.  He assumed that they were just trying to draw him out, but in some cases he wondered....wondered if they enjoyed drving him crazy.

With another deep breath he dropped the bag of sand on the pedestal and snagged the crown. While anyone else would cheer and make a snarky comment, Sam wisely kept his mouth shut and made for the exit as fast he could. "You'd be proud of me Dean," he muttered  as he jogged away. His heart ached thinking of his missing brother. Dean would love this place where fiction and reality mixed. But Dean wasn't here, he was dead, lost in a war between God and his sister and Sam was now alone and trying not to go running back to a life that seemed bound and determined to screw him over. Sam longed for better he truly did, but the universe seemed unwilling to give it to him, 

His point was proven as the temple began to rumble and shake. "Oh come on," he yelled at the ceiling, "you had to keep this bit too." His speed picked up as rocks started crashing around him. "My luck just sucks."

Sam was good at hiding his anger, he'd grown up around two emotional masters. But he was better at channeling his emotions into other things.After the funeral, he'd come up with an idea.A wild insane Winchester idea. He went straight back to the Arrow cave and called Cisco having the engineer talk him through making a new version of the Canary Cry since Oliver had allowed the new Canary to keep the old one. He was currently bent over bits and pieces of tech trying to make the idea in his head reality. He just doesn't realize how much time has past,someone might have to remind him. 

Sam hadn't been back in Gotham since his college days. He'd interned at the DA's office until he and Harvey had had their falling out and he'd moved to Starling. He'd popped in and out of the GCPD a lot then grabbing case files and the like and he didn't realize how much he'd missed it until he walked through the hustle and bustle. There was just something so calming about being in the middle of it. He jogged up the stairs to the records room and popped his head around the corner.. "Any one around?"

 Gabriel was going to die and Sam knew it. He stared the archangel down as if pushing his own thoughts into Gabriel's head would stop him from doing something stupid. He knew it wasn't going to work, but he felt so helpless. He wanted to say something anything that wouldn't cheapen the moment. Gabriel kept trying to nudge Sam, Dean and Kali toward the door and Sam planted his feet so that no matter how Gabriel pushed against him, the group wouldn't move. 

"Let us help," Sam begged softly, "please Gabriel don't face him alone."  The angel just turned to Sam and flashed that mega watt smile that made Sam's heart throb and twist like a wet towel in his chest. "Don't you trust me Sambo," Gabriel said, Sam took a deep breath and tried to think of a comeback that would both communicate his guilt, anger and yes even love for the angel who had driven him insane for over five years. 

"I love you," was too simple in Sam's mind. It didn't say enough about how Sam felt and he was sure Gabriel would just laugh off the words anyway. "Please don't," he says softly trying to put all he is feeling into the words, "we can get out of this together, Don't waste your Grace on me." That still sounded weak and too much like begging for Sam's tastes, but how could he tell an angel the human he was protecting wanted to die. Gabriel pushed back against Sam. "Go," the angel hissed, "and give my brothers and sisters hell for as long as you can." 

Sam gives a weak chuckle as his mind starts making plans that do not involved giving any angel hell for any reason. He will find a way to save the world without going to hell or seeing anymore of his family or friends die. There had to be someone, somewhere who could help him. But first he had to turn his back and let the angel he loved save him.

Sam stared at Lilith's body watching the thin line of blood stream out of her and along the floor. I did it, he thought to himself as he remained frozen in place. A yank on his jacket broke him out of his stupor and he turned to face his brother horrified. He tried to speak, but no words would come out. Have to protect Dean, this is my fault, Sam kept thinking as he attempted to body block his brother from the blood and turned toward the door as the blood started to form a seal on the stone floor. 

Sam couldn't believe he'd let Ruby trick him like that. Had he been so grief stricken that he'd let his grief rule his hunting instincts? He wanted to say no, try to deny that he had done anything wrong. It was the demon blood's fault, he tried to reason, the addiction had clouded his mind and made him do things he would have normally never done. As Dean dragged him toward the door, Sam knew he was bullshitting himself. It wasn't all the demon blood, it was him. He'd let Ruby twist him around her little finger and use him and he hadn't cared. All he'd cared about was doing whatever he could to avenge Dean and kill the demon bitch who had sent his brother to Hell., 

Now the final seal had broken and Sam had no idea what was going to happen next or what he could about it. As the door to the chapel slammed shut, he felt an terrible sense of foreboding. What would Lucifer do to them once he was free? Would he kill them outright or would he toy with them first like Lilith had, making them think they had a chance at survival before he ripped them apart.

 Sam turned to face the seal again at the same time as Dean and gripped his older brother’s jacket for strength and support. Whatever happened next the Winchesters would face it together, because that is what family did.
