Sam sighs softly as he tried to slip into the meditative state that allowed his brain to rest these days.Even though he'd been enhanced not to need sleep anymore, Sam found he missed it. There was just something to be said for feeling safe enough with someone to close your eyes and just let go and with Gabriel he felt that safe. Life wasn't perfect however, Sam still had to service clients and charm Beasts in the ring. He sighed again and opened his eyes. Rest would not come easy tonight.

For his part, given the time and the lamp that isn't as bright being the only light in the room, Gabriel was sleeping on Sam's bed; his wings twitching every so often as he dreamed.

He much prefers sleeping here. His 'bed' in his cage, if it could be called that, was basically a thinly padded shelf. This one was much better. Not to mention more private.

Sam stood up and walked over to be bed and reaches over to gently stroke one of Gabriel's wings. He is grateful to have the angel here and he knows he would do anything to see them both free. "I love you," he whispers softly,

"Mmm." Gabriel's wing twitches harder and he slowly rouses, blinking at Sam. "Time to be awake?"

Considering he felt like he didn't get much sleep, he was hoping the answer was more or less 'no'.

"No," Sam said, "I couldn't rest my mind. I didn't mean to wake you up too Gabe." He sits on the edge of the bed and smiles. "it's important for you to catch as much sleep as you can before the ring."

"Yeah," he agrees with a yawn, shifting to the side in case Sam wanted to join him. Considering the timing of him going from kept in a cage twenty-four seven, to having a part that allows him to get some flying in, he's aware of who he needs to thank for that.

Sam lays down curling against the angel's side with a happy sigh. "I've been thinking," he says, "the Ringmaster trusts me....I could maybe use that to get you out of the Circus...."

[lotsoflaughs]

Gabriel presses against him for the warmth and company. "After the investment's he's made in altering me?"

Yeah, he's a bit skeptical of that. Not to mention that he hadn't exactly endeared himself to him.

[notarambler]

"He doesn't make his money with just the Circus Gabe," Sam says, "the bulk of it comes after hours when the favored are sold to the patrons. If I make him a ton of money over the next few days he might be loose enough to convince to overlook a Beast or maybe two vanishing."

Gabriel frowns a little, but doesn't object overtly, just pressing against Sam a little more. He's not sure where he was supposed to go if he did 'disappear'.

Sam kept talking to think his plan out and fill the silence. He hated silence it made him think too much of what was and what had been. "I'm sure once you get away from the Circus your angel mojo would help Cas find you...if you still have your angel mojo."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Yeah. 'If'," Gabriel says with a sigh, still pressing against Sam. "And where would you be in all this, hmm?"

[notarambler]

"Here," Sam says, "Gabe...I can't go back. I'm not human anymore. If I slipped and convinced someone to do something they didn't want to do.....people could get hurt."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Someone could get hurt by being hit by a bus," Gabriel says with a shake of his head. He can't say it wasn't tempting to leave, but he's not sure how things would go. Or how badly wrong they'll turn out.

[notarambler]

"I don't know what else I could do if I left," Sam said, "I don't even know where Earth is in relation to the Circus. I'd love to go home...I miss Dean, but I can't."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Well, hunting would probably be safer. You'd be able to make the whatever stop in an emergency," Gabriel says, closing his eyes as he stays pressed up against Sam.

[notarambler]

"But I could hurt any innocents around without meaning too," Sam says turning to kiss Gabriel gently. "Maybe it would be better if we just stayed here."

[lotsoflaughs]

Gabriel frowns a little, not paying the kiss much mind. "I'd say we--and probably others--have pretty effectively caged ourselves with the whole 'going home wouldn't end well' thing, haven't we? Bastard."

Needless to say, the last was directed at the Ringmaster, not Sam.

[notarambler]

Sam nods and when he speaks he is deeply sad. "Yeah pretty much," he says., "I mean I'm glad you are here...but I miss Dean and Cas too."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Yeah. Let's not give him any ideas though, hmm?" It would be best if Dean and Castiel weren't there, since they'd likely be messed with in similar ways.

[notarambler]

"Yeah," Sam agrees, "the Ringmaster would have a field day with both of them and that would not end well."

[lotsoflaughs]

"No, it wouldn't," Gabriel agrees, before pressing against Sam more, wanting more contact. Although there's more clothes involved than he would prefer, so Gabriel then moves back to start tugging at Sam's shirt to get it off him.

[notarambler]

Sam leans up a bit and eases out of his shirt. "Better," he asks, "what do you need tonight Gabe...tell me?"

[lotsoflaughs]

Gabriel feels the compulsion to do what Sam tells him and rather than mind it a small thrill goes through him instead. "I need you to tell me what to do in bed."

Previously, he only would have been willing to let certain older brothers of his be the ones in charge in bed, but well, times change. Resulting in him being eager to find out what Sam wants him to do.

Sam nods. "Okay, but if my power starts kicking in I need you to tap S.O.S into my back okay. I don't want you to do something you don't want to do." He shifts a bit. "Kiss me," he says gently but firmly.

[lotsoflaughs]

"Assuming I don't get a certain word out," Gabriel points out before pressing a kiss on Sam as the rest of his body presses against him, wanting the contact.

[notarambler]

"Just covering my butt," Sam replies nuzzling Gabriel's neck and nipping little bites along where he nuzzles.

[lotsoflaughs]

"Mmm," Gabriel sighs, tilting his head to give Sam easier access to his neck. Small shivers go through him and he presses as close to Sam as he possibly could.

[notarambler]

Sam moved down to Gabriel's should and nibbled there next with a happy rumble. as he pressed against the angel until he couldn't get any closer.

Gabriel makes a quiet sound, running one hand through Sam's hair as he resists the urge to ask for a new set of orders. He'll let Sam move this at his pace.

Sam keeps nuzzling and nipping. He wants to take this slow and he's going to. He loves how Gabriel tastes and smells and he treasures these moments because they are few and far between.

[lotsoflaughs]

Gabriel makes more quiet little sounds, his hips rocking up occasionally despite the fact they both had pants in the way. He's not actually expecting things to move along that quickly, just letting himself react. "Sam..."

[notarambler]

Sam purrs softly and keeps up with his gentle loving of his angel. "Love you like this," he muttered softly.

Gabriel groans quietly, his hips rocking up more as he wraps his arms around Sam to keep him close, aware that depending on what Sam decides to do, he may need to let go.

Sam meets each rock with one of his own with a mixture of a groan and moan. He strokes his hands down Gabriel's back and wings slowly feeling as much of the feathers and skin as he can.

Gabriel gasps and shudders when Sam hits a particularly sensitive spot. Not that he lets it distract him away from continuing to rock up against him.

Sam buries his hands in the feathers and shivers "Gabe fuck. I want so much."

"Ready to do something about it, or do you want to keep driving the both of us crazy?" Gabriel asks with a groan.
